The Zagg Pro Keys with Trackpad isn’t just for pro-grade iPad users because anyone might want the option to turn their tablet into a laptop. The new keyboard case is compatible with the 11-inch iPad Pro, the 10.9-inch iPad Air and the 10.2-inch iPad.

Zagg also introduced on Wednesday a version of Pro Keys without a trackpad for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. And the accessory maker launched a Rugged Book keyboard case for the 11-inch iPad Pro and the 10.9-inch iPad Air.

“The Pro Keys with Trackpad keyboard unlocks the full iPad potential by enabling more convenient typing, viewing, drawing, reading, and multitasking via swipes and taps on the trackpad,” said Brad Bell, SVP for Zagg.

The polycarbonate case has a rigid core, rubberized edges and button covers, and corner bumpers, all of which combine to provide 6.6 feet (2m) of drop protection. On the back is an adjustable stand.

The keyboard/trackpad unit is detachable. The keyboard includes backlit keys, while the trackpad uses Bluetooth and can be turned off when not needed.

Zagg created a video to show off the capabilities of the Pro Keys with Trackpad. Watch it now:

The version for the 11-inch iPad Pro (1st, 2nd, 3rd gen) and the 10.9-inch iPad Air (4th gen) are available now on Zagg.com. They cost $149.99. A version for the 10.2-inch iPad (7th, 8th gen) will be available on May 25 for $139.99.

The accessory maker also extended its Rugged Book line to the 11-inch iPad Pro and the 10.9-inch iPad Air. “If you’re looking to keep the iPad in pristine condition, our Rugged Book keyboard is specifically designed to withstand the more demanding elements of everyday life,” said Bell.

The case uses a clamshell design with a wide range of viewing angles. And it offers up to 6.6 feet (2m) of drop protection. The detachable keyboard is backlit.
