Apple TV+ renews Servant for creepy third season

By

‘Servant’ Season 2 debuted in January 2021 on Apple TV+.
Servant Season 2 premiers in January but Apple TV+ went ahead and greenlit a third season.

The psychological thriller Servant will be back for a third season. Apple TV+ went ahead and greenlit the next season event though it’s still a month before Season 2 premiers.

The show tells the story of young couple trying to figure out if their lost child has returned from the dead. Of if they’re going mad. Or something worse is happening. It’s what you’d expect from a series with M. Night Shyamalan involved.

The first season introduced us to the Turner family, a couple who tragically lose their son Jericho. In his place, they adopt a lifelike doll, even going so far as to hire a nanny to look after the “baby.” But maybe the doll isn’t just a doll.

Servant season 2 gets even creepier

Apple warns that, “the second season takes a supernatural turn with a darker future for all lying ahead.”

The cast, including Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint, will all reprise their characters for the second season.

The complete first season of Servant is now available to stream on Apple TV+. The 10-episode next season premieres on Friday, January 15, 2021. There’ll be one new episode each week, every Friday.

Multiple Apple TV+ shows returning

Several series that were part of the launch of Apple TV+ in 2019 will return in early 2021. That includes the second season of the comedy/drama Dickinson, premiering Friday, January 8, 2021. And For All Mankind season 2 will lauch February 19, 2021.
