Dark forces are on the rise and your quest is the defeat them with the power of… pinball. OK, high fantasy this is not. Instead, Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes fuses pinball and tower defense into a deliberately wacky game that launched Friday on Apple Arcade.
And the in-app purchases that plagued the original version are gone!
Players choose a hero, then wield their mighty Pinball Ballista to fight off waves of adorkable zombies in a cartoon world. And each horde is lead by a unique zombie boss that also must be defeated.
FireFly Games, the developer, points out that Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes changes every runthrough for maximum replayability. And there are hundreds of combinations of heroes and powers to discover.

Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes now on Apple Arcade
This single-player pinball/tower defense mashup launched Friday, and is available now in the App Store. There are versions for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
But playing requires a subscription to Apple Arcade. The cost is $4.99 a month, but that one fee brings access over 100 other titles. That includes Roundguard, a role-playing game mixed with a pinball machine. And the service doesn’t hit users with other costs — Apple Arcade bans in-app purchases, ads and loot boxes.
