The two Product(Red) bands for Apple Watch Series 6 that suffered a late launch became available in the Apple Online Store Friday. The red variants of the Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop bands cost $49 and $99 respectively, and will ship in 1-2 weeks. Both are available in 40mm and 44mm sizes.
Apple began selling Product(Red) versions of many of its products more than a decade ago. (You can check out my list of Apple’s best and worst (Red) products for a recap.) Since the company started offering Product(Red) gear, Apple has raised millions of dollars to fight HIV/AIDS in African countries.
However, from now until December 31, Apple small-print notes that the portion of proceeds that normally goes to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS will instead go to the Global Fund’s COVID‑19 Response.

So far, Friday has been a big day for Apple when it comes to new products. The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, along with the iPad Air 4, also arrived on the Apple Online Store today.
