A listing of multiple unknown tablets by the Eurasian Economic Commission seemingly confirms that Apple will soon introduce a range of new 2020 iPad models.

The same source also says multiple Apple Watch models running watchOS 7 are about to be released.

The EEC holds sway in several countries, including Russia, Belarus and Armenia. Entries in its product database have given us early looks at many Apple computers in the past, like this spring’s 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Get ready for the 2020 iPad

On Wednesday, listings for seven “Tablet computers of the trademark ‘Apple’” appeared in this database. There’s also a note that these will run iPadOS 14, which Apple announced at its Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

The models numbers are A2072, A2270, A2316, A2324, A2325, A2428 and A2429. But this isn’t an indication that Apple will soon launch seven completely different 2020 iPad models. The various configurations of the same device always get separate numbers. For example, the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9-inch with Wi-Fi and cellular bears model number A2232 while this same tablet with just Wi-Fi has model number A2229.

The EEC doesn’t reveal specs. Just model numbers. But an unconfirmed report from earlier this year indicates Apple is prepping a redesigned 2020 iPad Air with a screen that’s “almost 11 inches.” The current version, released in spring 2019, has a 10.5-inch display.

Apple Watch Series Series 6 is on the way, too

Beyond tablets, listings for eight unknown Apple Watch models also appeared in the EEC database on Wednesday. The model numbers just added are A2291, A2292, A2351, A2352, A2355, A2356, A2375 and A2376. They will all run watchOS 7, which Apple also unveiled at June’s WWDC.

Cupertino launches a new wearable every autumn, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that it’s about to do so again. Rumors of Apple Watch Series 6 have been circulating for months.

Still, the fact that both a new iPad and the next Apple Watch were added to the EEC database on the same day helps confirm an earlier report that these two will be announced via press release sometime during the week of September 7.
