The first season of Greatness Code includes seven mini episodes, each examining a pivotal moment that defined an athlete’s career.
Superstars who’ll be interviewed include four-time NBA MVP Lebron James, six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, co-captain of the US women’s national soccer team Alex Morgan, eight-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt, 15-time world champion swimmer Katie Ledecky, and 11-time world champion surfer Kelly Slater.
Apple TV+ unlocks the Greatness Code in July
Greatness Code launches Friday, July 10, on Apple TV+. It’ll be the third celebrity-driven series the streaming service introduced this summer.
Dear…, a 10-episode docuseries profiling the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Spike Lee, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Big Bird, debuted early in June.
That was followed by Dads, a “joyful exploration of contemporary fatherhood,” according to Apple. The film features the likes of Will Smith, Judd Apatow, and Conan O’Brien.
Watching these series, and the dozens of other Apple TV+ shows and films, requires a $4.99 a month subscription. Or those who purchase a new Mac, iPhone, Apple TV or iPad get a free year of the service.
