The Mophie Powerstation Wireless XL juices up iPhones with wireless charging or through a USB-C fast charge. And there are even more options to replenish this 10,000mAh power bank, as it receives power through a Lightning port, USB-C or wireless charging.
The product launched Thursday, and Apple likes it enough to add the product to its online store.
Mophie Powerstation Wireless XL offers plenty of charging options
“Rounding out our new Powerstation line, the Powerstation Wireless XL delivers the convenience of wireless charging and fast USB-C charging in one device to meet the portable power needs of Apple customers,” said Charlie Quong, vice president of product, power at ZAGG Brands.
The external battery both sends and receives power wirelessly. And its USB-C port can also recharge this accessory as well as funnel up to 18W to an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Both can be used at once to recharge multiple devices.
There’s also a Lighting port to receive power, allowing the Powerstation Wireless XL to be recharged with the cable from an iPhone.
The accessory supports pass-through power, so it can replenish itself while also sending power to a handset or other computer.
The 2020 version of the Mophie Powerstation Wireless XL costs $99.95. It’s available at that price on the Apple Store.
Part of Mophie’s 2020 Powerstation line
The power bank released today joins this company’s line of external batteries for recharging Apple devices that were all recently updated.
The new base-model Mophie Powerstation ($59.95) holds 6,000mAh and has a USB-A port, a USB-C port that can transmit 18W, and can recharge through its Lightning port.
The latest Mophie Powerstation Plus ($79.95) offers many of the same features but puts an integrated Lightning cable in place of the USB-C port.
And the updated Mophie Powerstation Plus XL ($99.95) adds wireless charging on top of that. It also increases the storage capacity to 8000mAh.
