Veteran Hollywood writer and producer Annie Weisman has signed a longterm creative deal with AppleTV+ to develop televisions projects exclusive to the service, according to a published report Friday
Weisman, has been in production of the upcoming Apple TV+ dramedy series Physical, which stars Rose Byrne, is a comedy/drama. Physical is set in a 1980s Southern California beach community. It follows a woman (Byrne) struggling in her life to find a direction through the world of aerobics.
Weisman was previously developing content for Universal TV and was creator of the drama the Almost Family, which aired for one season on Fox.
In addition to working for two season writing and producing Desperate Housewives on ABC, she also worked on the American drama series Almost Family, Hulu’s The Path, and the comedy/drama movie About a Boy.
