Apple has updated its Clips video creation app, adding mouse, trackpad and Bluetooth keyboard support for iPad users running iPadOS 13.4 or later.

While iPadOS 13 introduced basic mouse support, iPadOS 13.4 added much improved cursor control. And Apple’s Clips app, which lets users combine video clips, photos and music into sharable videos, has reaped the benefits!

The Tuesday update also adds a new Duplicate button. This allows users to create a copy of a clip with all of the effects carrying over. In addition, you can now tap the Split button to divide any clip in two.

On top of this, Apple has added new 8-bit stickers and 11 new Mickey and Minnie Mouse stickers. There’s also a new Game Over and Springtime poster, plus assorted bug fixes and stability improvements.

Although the biggest updates are for those running Clips on iPad, features like the additional stickers are also for those using iPhone.

Apple debuted Clips in April 2017. If you’ve not had the opportunity to check it out, you can do so by downloading it from the App Store here.
