All the streaming content of the cable channel Epix is reportedly free to Apple users until May 2. Original shows like Pennyworth and Godfather of Harlem as well a wide selection of movies are available from Epix through the Apple TV app.
Open the Apple TV app to watch Epix
Epix is completely free to watch for the next month, according to 9to5mac. And this isn’t a 30-day free trial that users will need to remember to cancel before getting charged. There are no strings attached. No subscription to Apple TV+ is required — that’s completely separate.
But watchers will need to access the Epix channel through the Apple TV application. This comes pre-installed on iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV… naturally. Just open the app and scroll down to My Channels. Epix is now listed as one of the options.
Epix offers all the classic James Bond movies, all the classic Star Trek movies, many Avengers movies, and lots more. There are also the original series already mentioned plus War of the Worlds, Get Shorty and others.
Watch free CBS All Access through Apple TV too
Update: The window to sign up for this offer has expired.
CBS All Access is also available free through Apple TV. The streaming service normally costs $5.99 per month. It brings access to original shows like Star Trek: Picard, a Twilight Zone reboot, and lots more.
To get CBS All Access on Apple TV, open the CBS.com page and click “Login with Apple TV.” CBS All Access will unlock as long as you stay subscribed through Apple TV Channels.
