Great looking shot on iPhone videos are a dime a dozen nowadays, but I guarantee you’ve never seen anything like this one.

The creative team behind Vallee Duhamel pushed the iPhone XS Max camera to its limit for their conceptual video Glacier that has to be seen to be believed. Apple commissioned the video to be made for one of its Today at Apple sessions and will be playing it at stores worldwide to inspire iPhone owners to push their own creativity.

Buckle up for a short film that’s out of this world:

Vallee Duhamel partnered with a number of artists and companies to bring the video to life. Rodeo FX did a lot of heavy lifting with all the visual effects work surrounding dancer Olivia Khoury. Partizan, Sailor Productions served as producers on the project which is pretty impressive in its scope.

Of course, having a lot of professional lighting and sound equipment goes a long way toward making this video standout. However, the team used a lot of cheap iPhone accessories to shoot the video too. In a behind-the-scenes video of the short film you can see the crew using FiLMiC Pro to shoot footage. Moment lens and a Movi Freefly stabilizer also help give it a professional look.
