Apple is quickly adding new members to the cast of Dickinson as it gears up for a new season, including the actor who played one of the most iconic minor characters of Game of Thrones.

Finn Jones, of Loras Tyrell fame, has reportedly signed on for a role in season 2. He will be joined by Pico Alexander as newcomers on the teen drama show that has been lauded as one of the best series to come out of Apple TV+ so far.

Dickinson was among Apple’s four prestige shows that debuted at the launch of Apple TV+ last month. Unlike the other three shows, all ten episodes of the show were available for binging on day one. It’s currently the highest-rated Apple TV+ show on Rotten Tomatoes with a critic rating of 75% and an audience rating of 94%.

Dickinson season 2 on the way

According to Variety, Finn Jones will play newspaper editor Samuel Bowles. The character is described as “energetic and magnetic,” adjectives that weren’t really thrown around for Finn’s portrayal as Danny Rand in the Marvel-Netflix series Iron Fist.

Pico Alexander will play a character named Ship who is boarding with the Dickinsons after dropping out of Amherst College. Alexander’s most recent credits include an appearance in the Hulu miniseries adaptation of Catch 22. Other new season 2 cast members include Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, and Adrian Blake Enscoe.

Season 2 of Dickinson is expected to land on Apple TV+ sometime in late 2020.
