Downton Abbey fans may have a great new costume drama to jump ship to thanks to Apple TV+. A new trailer for Apple’s upcoming TV show Dickinson gives us our best glimpse yet of the new series, which stars Haile Steinfeld as iconic poet Emily Dickinson.

The fight for women’s rights lands front and center in the lengthy new trailer. It shows just how “eccentric” Dickinson’s peers consider her ideas at the time.

Dickinson will arrive with the first batch of shows on Apple TV+ when the streaming service launches November 1. It will be joined by For All Mankind, The Morning Show, See, Helpsters, Ghostwriter, Snoopy in Space and more.

Apple describes Dickinson as a “darkly comedic coming-of-age story” that explores constraints of society, gender and family through the lens of Emily Dickinson.

The first season will consist of 10 episodes, each 30 minutes in length. Other cast members include Toby Huss from Nickelodeon’s The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Anna Baryshnikov from Manchester by the Sea, Ella Hunt from Anna and the Apocalypse and Adrian Blake Enscoe from Seeds. Alena Smith, who worked as a writer on HBO’s acclaimed series Newsroom, handles the script.
