You may miss out on launch day delivery if you haven’t already preordered your shiny new iPhone 11, 11 Pro, or 11 Pro Max. Shipping dates have already started slipping for many models after preorders opened at 5 a.m. PDT today.
But there’s good news if you plan to pick up the more affordable iPhone 11.
We warned initial stock would sell out fast after Apple started taking iPhone 11 preorders. We’re actually surprised to see so many options still available for launch day delivery more than an hour later.
But some models are already starting to become more difficult to obtain. Here’s the latest on iPhone 11 shipping dates.
iPhone 11 shipping dates
Customers preordering the $699 iPhone 11 will be pleased to see most configurations are still available for September 20 delivery.
Shipping estimates for a small number of options, like the 64GB unit in green, have now started slipping to 5-7 business days. But the vast majority are still stating launch day delivery.
iPhone 11 Pro shipping dates
Sadly, the same cannot be said about iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. They appear to be selling a lot faster, with shipping times already slipping for a greater number of configurations.
Midnight green models appear to be most popular, with shipping estimates slipping to 7-10 business days for many configurations. All midnight green 11 Pro Max handsets have now slipped.
11 Pro Max stock in other color options is also being snapped up quickly. Many silver, gold, and space gray configurations are also stating at least seven days for shipping.
Try shopping elsewhere
If the model you want is no longer available for delivery on September 20, there are other channels you can try. Apple’s newest handsets are also available to preorder from carriers today.
You will also be able to buy them from physical Apple and carrer stores starting September 20. Get in early and you should get the handset you want without having to wait longer.
Note these iPhone 11 shipping dates apply to customers in the U.S. They may be different where you live.
