iOS 13 GM — the final beta build of iOS 13 and iPad OS 13 — finally arrived today, after Apple revealed the public launch date for the huge software update.
After its big iPhone 11 keynote today, Apple said iOS 13 will launch on September 19. That’s one day before new iPhones hit stores. Developers can already get the launch version, though, thanks to the iOS 13 GM seed Apple released today alongside iOS 13.1 beta 3.
Registered developers can download the iOS 13 GM or iOS 13.1 beta 3 from Apple’s online developer portal. Also available there: tvOS 13 beta 10 and macOS Catalina 10.15 beta 8. Apple did not give us a release date for either of those two updates yet.

The iOS 13 GM seed is the exact same build Apple will release to the public. Apple’s last few builds of iOS 13 actually proved stable enough for us to use on our main devices. If you’ve been holding off on trying iOS 13 until all the bugs are fixed, this is the best it’s going to get for now.
Plus, a new iOS beta
Release notes for iOS 13.1 beta 3 outline a number of small new features Apple added. That includes some changes to SwiftUI and UIKit. Plus, you can use the Audio Sharing feature with other iPhones and iPads instead of just AirPods. Finally, the Mail app gains the ability to ignore blocked senders.
