Apple’s acclaimed Powerbeats Pro wireless headphones are now available to pre-order in ivory, moss, and navy color options. Previously, they were only available in black.

The wireless headphones retail for $249.95. They will start shipping August 30, and will arrive in Apple Stores on that same day as well.

The Powerbeats Pro are the first truly wireless earbuds to come out of the Beats by Dre line. They’re functionally very similar to Apple’s latest AirPods, but with added sweat and water resistance. (Because they’re being aimed at athletes.)

They include the same H1 wireless chip found in the AirPods 2. They also feature a superior battery, which should give you 9 hours of listening, compared to 5 hours for the AirPods.

Apple notes that, “Completely re-engineered from the inside out, the earphones boast an upgraded linear piston driver that leverages an efficient, pressurized airflow to create a powerful acoustic response in a small package. Enhanced sound quality means incredibly low distortion and great dynamic range across the entire frequency curve.”

The Cult of Mac comparison between Powerbeats Pro and AirPods concluded that:

“There’s a ton to love about the Powerbeats Pro. To my ears, they have better sound, they keep outside noises isolated better, stay in place better, and can go way longer between charges.”

That’s a pretty ringing endorsement. However, it’s worth noting that they cost $90.95 more than Apple’s other earpods. If you’re on a budget, it might therefore be worth considering other options. If you’ve got the cash to splash, though, this is a definite recommend from us.
