The tiniest member of my favorite Bluetooth speaker family just got a big upgrade. Ultimate Ears’ new Wonderboom 2 adds an Outdoor Boost mode that cranks up the bass and is “specially tuned” for listening in the great outdoors. And that seems like a completely awesome feature for the rugged little speaker.
Even better, you trigger Outdoor Boost by pressing one of the cutest buttons I’ve ever seen.

You’ll find the Outdoor Boost mode button on the bottom of the pint-size speaker, which is about the size of a softball.
Press it, and you’ll experience “louder, crisper audio with a built-in and pre-adjusted equalizer (EQ) that compliments any outdoor environment,” Ultimate Ears said.
The company builds its great-sounding speakers to take anywhere. They’re waterproof and durable. And like its impressive big brother, the Boom 3, the Wonderboom 2 even floats.
