Electronics Arts is giving away The Sims 4 for Mac and PC free of charge.

There’s is no catch; simply download the game from the company’s own Origin platform by May 28 and you’ll pay nothing. It’s yours to keep, saving you $40.

The Sims 4 made its debut back in 2014 on PC. But unlike many games, it has only gotten better with age — thanks in part to the long (and still growing) list of expansions and add-ons.

If you still haven’t gotten around the playing it, now is your chance. Download the game before 10 a.m. PST on May 28 and it’s free.

How to get The Sims 4 for free

You’ll need an Origin account, which is also free, to claim the game. Once you have that, simply visit The Sims 4 page and click the Get it Free button.

You may be able to claim the game through the Origin client on your Mac or PC instead, but other players have reported problems with this method. You should have zero issues on the website.

You’ll get the standard version of the game — without any DLC or add-ons — which is usually priced at $40. There’s plenty of content to enjoy before you have to think about expanding it.

Remember, the offer ends at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST on May 28, so be sure to claim your copy of The Sims 4 before then.
