Apple just dropped a brand new Mac ad in the United Kingdom.

It’s all about making music and it features a whole bunch of big artists using Apple computers. It’s also a little reminiscent of the company’s old and iconic Think Different commercial.

Apple doesn’t release Mac ads as often as it perhaps should. But computers remain an important part of its business — particularly for the millions of users who rely on Macs every day.

Macs are particularly popular among creatives, like artists, songwriters, and music producers. As Apple’s website points out, “Mac is the instrument of choice for musicians everywhere.”

Behind the Music

Apple’s newest ad, titled “Behind the Music. Behind the Mac.” highlights that by showcasing photos of some of the biggest artists using a Mac.

The likes of Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Lily Allen, Stormzy, Gorillaz, and many more can be seen in the one-minute clip. What We Do by Swindle is the soundtrack.

“From bedroom studio to stadium tour, the British music scene is alive,” reads Apple’s video description on YouTube. “See the emerging and the iconic, the graft and the glory, a glimpse behind the scenes and behind the music.”

A new page on the Apple U.K. website highlights some of the music software available for its machines, including GarageBand and Logic Pro X.
