Samsung will give you a minimum of $200 for any old iPhone — no matter what condition it’s in.

As long as your device turns on, has been restored, and is not blacklisted, you’ll qualify for the offer. But there is a catch: Your credit can only be spent on a new Samsung phone.

Apple devices hold their value pretty well. But when it comes to the iPhone and other iOS devices, you have to be aware that they won’t be worth much once they reach a certain age — especially if they’re not in good condition.

If you have an old iPhone 5s sitting around, then, it’s going to net you hardly anything on eBay or Craigslist. But there is one way you can turn it into at least $200.

Samsung will cough up for aging iPhones

Samsung will give you $200 or more when you trade in any old iPhone (or Android) for one of its latest Galaxy handsets. It doesn’t matter what condition your device is in — you can expect a minimum of $200 in trade-in credit.

You might earn even more by selling a more recent iPhone in good condition. An iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone X, or iPhone XS will get you $300.

That will save you nearly half on the new Galaxy S10e — the most affordable handset in Samsung’s newest lineup. The standard Galaxy S10 would be reduced to $599.99 with a $300 discount.

Cult of Mac buys back old iPhones, too

Of course, this trade-in offer is only appealing to those who want one of Samsung’s new phones. If you want a newer iPhone instead, you’ll need to make money from your old devices elsewhere.

That’s where Cult of Mac can help. We’ve teamed up with the folks at MyPhones Unlimited to buy back old Apple devices. We pay some of the best prices, and we’ll send you real cash.

We also buy back broken devices in need of repair, and we promise that nothing goes to landfill. You can visit our buyback site for a quote, which will be valid for 14 days.
