Designed by Apple in California

If there’s one thing Apple fans love, it’s admiring Apple devices. Designed by Apple in California is a gorgeous coffee table book that lets them do just that. The official Apple release chronicles 20 years of Apple design, from the iMac to the Apple Pencil, through 450 photographs.

The book, which took eight years to create, also provides a look at Apple’s design and manufacturing processes, including the innovative materials and techniques it uses. It’s printed on specially-milled German paper with gilded silver edges, and is available in two sizes: 10.2 x 12.8 inches and 13 x 16.3 inches.

Steve Jobs’ daughter tells her story

Small Fry is the autobiography of Lisa Brennan-Jobs, the daughter Steve Jobs didn’t (initially) want. Sad, sometimes disturbing, but so much more than a misery memoir, this is a different look at Apple’s charismatic founder, told from the perspective of his oldest child. Well worth a read.

Every Apple fan deserves a pair of AirPods

Apple’s on course to eliminate the headphone jack entirely and there’s no turning back, which means wireless headphones are the way forward. And they don’t come much better than AirPods for those who use Apple devices.

AirPods offers super-simple connectivity, great sound and reliability, and terrific battery life. They also come in a handy charging case that keeps them safe while they’re rolling around in the bottom of a bag.

No matter who you give AirPods to, or what they’ll use them to listen to, they’ll be delighted.

Its headphone jack can be plugged into a handheld console, gym equipment, televisions, and even airplane seats to allow them to connect with AirPods wirelessly — and setup couldn’t be simpler.

AirFly lasts for up to 8 hours on a single charge and has a rechargeable battery built-in. It’s tiny so that you can stick it in your pocket and take it anywhere, and it’s affordable at $39.99.

Apple’s leather cases are always a winner

For premium protection that’s as pretty as the iPhone itself, look no further than Apple’s official leather case selection. Available for iPhone 7 and later, these cases come in a range of pretty colors — all made from the finest European leather.

They’re nice and slim so they don’t make your iPhone too bulky, but they’re still robust enough to protect it against dings and drops. They also have a soft, microfiber lining that helps prevent debris from scratching your iPhone should it make its way inside the case.

You almost certainly won’t find a nicer, more attractive case for iPhone.

Give the gift of music

Everyone loves music, so for those who already have everything, an Apple Music gift card is ideal. You can buy them for as little as $10, which is great if you’re shopping on a tight budget. They will grant access to a library of millions of tracks for at least a month.

You can also have your gift cards mailed or emailed to their recipients, so if for whatever reason you won’t be seeing your loved one on Valentine’s Day, or you left your shopping until the last minute, they’re perfect.

Apple Pencil is the perfect companion for iPad

The Apple Pencil is an essential accessory for any iPad owner who likes to write and draw. It’s also the best stylus money can buy for iOS, offering incredibly accuracy, terrific pressure-sensitivity, and great battery life.

If you’re gifting an Apple Pencil, however, be sure to purchase the right model. There’s a new version for the latest lineup of iPad Pros. (Earlier Apple tablets only work with the original.)
