Apple Watch owners can finally take advantage of the 70 new emoji Apple already added to iPhone, iPad and Mac last week.

After pulling watchOS 5.1 last week because it bricked some watches, Apple has come out with a new watchOS 5.1.1 update that contains all of the goodies from watchOS 5.1, plus a crucial fix for the bug that made some watches inoperable.

Apple Watch owners can grab watchOS 5.1.1 through the Watch app on iOS. Not all Apple Watch users that upgraded to watchOS 5.1 were affected by the bug. You should still update to the new software though if you were one of the lucky ones that managed to install it before it was pulled.

watchOS 5.1 adds over 70 new emoji to the keyboard on Apple Watch. Some of the new characters include super heroes, a controversial woozy face, peacock, lobster, skateboard, a kangaroo and lots of other new ones. Apple also added a solid color watchface that takes up the entire screen.

One feature missing from watchOS 5.1 is the new ECG feature. Apple demoed the ECG app on stage during its September iPhone event but didn’t include it when the Apple Watch Series 4 launched. Many owners were hoping it would be added to watchOS 5.1. Apple’s website still promises the ECG feature will launch in the US by the end of the year.
