Not satisfied with the iPhone XS Max being a mere smartphone, crazy Russian iPhone modders have gone and added a gorgeous mechanical watch onto Apple’s latest masterpiece.

The Grand Complications collection comes in three options: pink gold, titanium and black and gold, giving owners one of the most unique iPhones in the world. Caviar says the collection was inspired by the idea innovation of the future and their connection to classical traditions of the past.

On the front, you have all the technical possibilities of an iPhone. On the back, you’ve got a mechanical watch with accurate mechanisms you can view through the glass:

We got used to thinking that a smartphone is all we need today and this is our whole life. But in fact, our life is not limited by the technologies only,” said Caviar’s representatives. “The passage of time, majestic and implacable is still worth watching by real hands. The watch is, if we may say so, the beginning of the progress, the mechanism, from which everything has begun. This is why a mechanical watch today is a real luxury.”

Pricing on the custom iPhones starts at $5,990. The Black and Gold option is the most expensive with a top-of-the-line iPhone XS Max costing $8,080.

Caviar says that it will continue the Grand Complications collection in the future with other homages to mechanical clocks. The company plans to introduce a smartphone with a tourbillon at an exhibition in Basel, Switzerland.
