Unless you’re living under a rock, you’re probably aware of Fortnite, the biggest game on iOS (and just about every other platform) right now.

Well, a great game is about get even greater thanks to the rollout of the 4.0 version of the iOS game, a.k.a. Fortnite Season 4. Check out the trailer below.

As has been the case thus far, Fortnite is free to play, although you can shell out for in-app purchases to improve your gaming experience.

The premium Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 4 Battle Pass will set you back either 950 or 2,800 of its in-game V-Bucks currency. The difference between those two prices is the amount of leveling up that you’ll have to do to get everything on offer. (Although you’ll also have to shell out 150 V-Bucks to get absolutely everything.)

For the complete list of changes you can check out the official guide here. (Trust us, it’s way too long to try and give you a detailed rundown here.)

In terms of overall gameplay, the most notable change is the fact that Season 4 take place in the aftermath of the meteor crash which was hinted at during Season 3. This meteor collision has resulted in craters all across the island, transforming the game area. Comet shards can now be found across the map, and these can be used by players to lift them up for some low-gravity fun.

Then there are all-new battle skins, including a Wonder Woman-inspired design, and modifications to various weapons and gameplay elements.

Frankly, it’s all a bit overwhelming — but it’s bound to keep Fortnite players every bit as obsessed with their battle royal gaming experience as they’ve been up until this point.

If you haven’t yet played Fortnite, you can check out our handy “how to” guide here. Even if you have played it, our guide could help sharpen up your battle royal skills!
