Gold lovers might be able to get their iPhone X gold fix much sooner than expected.
Images of an alleged ‘Blush Gold’ iPhone X have leaked online this week. The images supposedly come straight from the production line, which could mean an official launch isn’t far away.
Apple was rumored to be working on a gold version of the iPhone X for its November launch last year. Production issues reportedly caused the company to hold it back. A recent report claimed the color will make a return with the 2018 generation of iPhones.
Gold iPhone X
Notorious iPhone leaker Benjamin Geskin tweeted images of the gold iPhone X. Geskin claims the gold iPhone X goes by the internal name code D21A.

The first leaked images of the iPhone X were also published by Geskin, so it’s pretty reasonable to believe that the images above are authentic.
KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo reported earlier this month that Apple wouldn’t launch a gold iPhone until this fall. Apple could use the gold iPhone X to boost sales during the middle of the sales season.
Apple has an event on March 27 that is supposed to be focused on education and creativity. It seems unlikely that the gold iPhone X would make an appearance at that event but it could be soon after.
