Remote collaboration has basically become a norm. For passing files of a all sorts back and forth, Google Drive or Dropbox quickly come to mind. But Droplr presents a unique set of collaborative tools.

Droplr’s core functions focus on sharing images, screenshots, and screen captures as videos and GIFs. These ‘Drops’ make on-screen demonstrations, sharing a bit of code, and other common tasks into easy gestures. Shared files are stored online, accessible via a web browser.

A teamwork toolkit

You can annotate screenshots while sharing, so your communications are clear. Portions of the screen can be recorded specifically with a click-and-drag selection. Drops can be tagged with keywords, or set to self-destruct after a given amount of time. That makes it easy to ensure that shared files don’t become security risks. New tools populate the Mac OS services menu, accessed from the mouse. Some of these tools are not available in the free version of Droplr. So this deal on the Pro version for up to three people is worth checking out.
