Apple has rolled out iOS 10.0.3 to address cellular connectivity issues with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The update is not available to download on older handsets, which were not affected by the bug.

This is only a minor iOS release, weighing in at just 75.4MB. But it’s important for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus owners, many of whom have been plagued by connectivity issues since upgrading to Apple’s latest handsets.

[contextly_auto_sidebar] Apple hasn’t confirmed what caused the connectivity bug, which meant some users temporarily lost data at random. The only workaround was to restart the device or toggle airplane mode, but this only fixed the problem for a short period.

You can download this update over-the-air by visiting the Software Update section inside the Settings app. Apple says other bug fixes are included, too, but those aren’t specified. Sadly, iPhone 7 Plus owners won’t see Portrait Mode, which will come in iOS 10.1.
