Best List: UE Boom 2 by Ultimate Ears
We loved the original UE Boom and the new 2.0 version is even better. The UE Boom 2 is stain-resistant, stylish, shock-resistant and completely waterproof. We’re not sure who is trying to listen to their tunes underwater, but if that’s your jam … you are good to go.

Ultimate Ears made the new speaker more powerful and kept the weight reasonable, so it’s easy to take anywhere. New touch controls mean you can simply pick it up and give it a whack to pause a track; just double-tap to skip to the next song.
It’s also upgradeable via the UE Boom app, which is always bringing new features (like the recent Block Party upgrade that turns you into a DJ, able to pick and choose among your friends’ favorite tracks, no matter if they come from Apple Music, Spotify or wherever).
With 360-degree sound, great wireless connectivity range and excellent battery life, the UE Boom 2 puts the boom in almost any situation.
