Can you put a price tag on bending the ear of CEO of the most valuable company in the world? Apple thinks you can, and its making Tim Cook available for a brief sit down if you’re willing to cough up the cash for charity.
For the third consecutive year, bids are being taken for lunch with Cook to support the RFK Center for Justice & Human Rights. The winner not only gets to meet for an exclusive one-on-one with Cook at Apple’s headquarters, but two VIP passes to an Apple keynote.
Last year’s lunch auction with Cook raised $330,000, and Charitybuzz estimates this year’s value to be $100,000. Bidding is already at $37,500 with 21 days to go.
The winning bidder gets to take one guest along to meet Cook, and the lunch will last for an hour. Be prepared to wait in the meantime. “Every effort will be made to schedule this experience at the earliest possible date convenient to both parties, but please note it may take up to 1 year to schedule based on availability,” notes the auction.
And don’t worry, the cost of the meal is included.
Join me for lunch (and a keynote!) and help a great cause. @RFKHumanRights is working toward a more just world. https://t.co/QxaKne4itb
