Apple Watch preorders don’t go on sale until April 10th at 12:01 AM, but you can get a virtual walkthrough of how to use one right now.
Apple has posted new guided tours online detailing specific features of the Watch in detail.
The first video is simply called “Welcome to Apple Watch” and goes over its main features from a bird’s eye view, including using the Digital Crown, getting directions, sending messages, and so on.
There’s a video dedicated to using Messages on the Apple Watch. The new emoji Apple created for the Watch are prominently featured, as is the ability to reply to messages with the Watch’s suggested responses.
Another video details the different kind of faces available on the Apple Watch. Each face will have its own set of customizations, including display options for the weather and moon phase.
Lastly, there’s a video for Digital Touch, which Apple is billing as a new way to communicate using the Watch’s Taptic Engine. By accessing your contacts through a dedicated button next to the Digital Crown, you can send your heartbeat, vibration taps, and quick sketches.
There will likely be plenty of more video walkthroughs from Apple in the coming days. Videos for making phone calls, Siri, Maps, Music, Apple Pay, and the Watch’s dedicated fitness apps are all labeled as “coming soon.”
