Apple’s new iPads are now available to pre-order through the Apple Online Store. Prices start at $399 for the iPad mini 3 and $499 for the iPad Air 2, and both will be delivered to your door next week.

The iPad Air 2 is by far the most exciting addition to Apple’s tablet lineup. It sports a new thinner form factor measuring just 6.1mm thick — the same thickness as the iPhone 6 — Apple’s brand new A8X processor, Touch ID, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera.

The iPad Air 3 also debuts Apple’s new Retina display, with more vivid colors and greater contrast, and a new antireflective coating that promises to be “the least reflective display of any tablet in the world.”

The iPad mini 3, on the other hand, isn’t quite so special.

In fact, it’s almost identical to last year’s iPad mini 2, only it’s available in gold and it has a Touch ID sensor. The display remains the same, the processor remains the same, and it’s form factor is exactly the same. But if you’re still adamant you want one, you can pre-order yours now at Apple.com.

Apple still hasn’t given us a specific release date for the new iPads, but if you get your order in early, it should be dispatched in “2-4 business days.”
