Those hoping for a little more rock and roll at SXSW will be amped to hear Apple just added Soundgarden to the lineup of bands schedule to perform at iTunes Festival during SXSW this year.

Not only will the grunge kings play a free show for fans on March 13th, but it will also mark the 20th anniversary of the band’s most popular album Superunknown. To celebrate, Chris Cornell, Matt Cameron, Kim Thayil and Ben Shepherd will play the entirety of Superunknown live.

The festival is set to take place over five nights at the Moody Theater in Austin during the SXSW festival, March 11-15th. Those who can’t make it the actual concert will still be able to watch Pitt Bull, Keith Urban, Coldplay and others via Apple TV or the official iTunes Festival app on iTunes.
