Flappy Bird On iOS Is Dead But You Can Now Play It On The Web

After enjoying a wild ride as one of the most popular iPhone games ever, Flappy Bird developer Dong Nguyen removed the game from both the App Store and Google Play yesterday, but if you missed the rise of Flappy Bird without getting to actually play it, there’s now a web game to give you a taste of the addiction.

A host of suicide notes and death threats were sent to Dong Nguyen over Twitter when he announced his plans to remove the game, but maybe those souls will find some solace in CrazyGames‘ web knock-off.

The jumping isn’t the same as the original Flappy Birds and the backgrounds are slightly different, but it’s the same game in essence, and it beats paying $100,000 for the real deal.
