JLab’s Big, Beautiful Bluetooth Bouncer

JLab’s brand new Bouncer is a Big JamBox competitor with a Big Jambox competitor’s price-tag: $250 (the BJ is $300). Inevitable comparisons aside, this looks to be a decent portable patio speaker, and it certainly looks the part.

The speaker has a pair of 12 watt drivers, and a couple of bass ports round back. It works with Bluetooth devices (and can control them remotely using the buttons on the front panel) or via 3.5mm jack, has a full-sized USB port so you can use it to charge your iPhone as you play, and comes in back or white.

Currently, the speaker is on sale, and you can pick one up for $130. Try to get a listen before you buy though – most BT speakers over $100 sound good these days, but we have yet to try any of the JLab lineup in the Cult of Mac Test Kitchen.
