After the insanely fast sellout of tickets for Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, which kicks off in a couple of weeks, we profiled a range of other events for Mac and iOS developers and for IT professionals who support and/or manage Apple’s desktop and mobile platforms.
While these events are great for developers and IT pros, they focus on the underlying technologies of OS X and iOS more than on how companies and other organizations can implement and leverage Macs, iPhones, and iPads in various businesses and industries. For that, there’s the i.Business Expo, a series of events focused on using Apple technologies to both improve business workflows and for customer/client engagement.
Hosted by Loop USA, i.Business Expo 2012 events that will be held this September in both Toronto, Ontario and Orlando, Florida. Loop describes the event as the only Apple-related Business Expo and business to business (B2B) trade show.
The events offer a range of content including keynote speakers, seminars, and round table discussions along with an exhibitor technology fair and a networking event called the i.Zone Expo where business leaders and professionals can connect with Mac and iOS developers and peripheral/accessory makers.
Several major Mac and iOS technology vendors in the business and enterprise space will be participating including VIPOrbit, Intego, AccountEdge, LexMark, SmartDoc, VMWARE, and HP.
Exhibitor space and sponsorship is still available for both events.
Both the Toronto and Orlando expos will be held in conjunction with larger two-day industry events.
- The Toronto event will be held alongside the Canadian Wireless Trade Show – September 12-13
- The Orlando event will take place next to the Florida Business Expo – September 19-20
