If you’re having trouble downloading iOS 9, you’re not alone.

Apple released the latest version of its mobile operating system today, but a lot of users are getting download errors when they try to snag the new firmware. With nowhere left to turn, they have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

Here are some of the more interesting reactions we’ve seen from people who just can’t seem to get that download started.

Come on, Apple. While we’re young.

Titanic‘s Gloria Stuart lived to be 100 years old, and I’m sure she didn’t want to spend the later parts waiting for her iPhone to accept a download.

I love lamp and hate iOS 9 download errors.

Brick Tamland from Anchorman is a complete idiot; let’s not dance around that. But Twitter user Jackhope01 suspects that even he wouldn’t take his frustration smiling. Although that movie takes place in 1974, so even seeing an iPhone would probably shut his feeble brain down permanently.

Great, Apple. You’ve upset Kanye.

The Internet has no shortage of reaction memes; my favorite is The Rock Driving. But you don’t always need text bubbles or jokes. Sometimes, it’s enough to just show a person’s transition from happy to sad within the space of a single image.

It’s not you, man. It’s the Internet.

User xxyorx seems to be taking his download woes personally. He should do something nice for himself while he’s waiting for the update to work. Just really take some time and build himself back up because he deserves nice things.

Good news: Not everyone is that happy.

Twitter’s cbz93_, whose handle expresses both his year of birth and love of underscores, imagines that some huge iOS 9 party is going on while he’s waiting for his turn. We’re all just running around out in the sunshine asking Siri to pull up photos based on time and location and laughing.

See? Spongebob is having a hell of a time.

Noelparkins95 (and his refreshingly simple username) imagines what must be going on at Apple while the rest of us are struggling. Truly, for every error message, a server somewhere lies melted and smoking.

I have a feeling Jesus will forgive you.

We feel this user’s pain. It’s tough having to decide what to get rid of to make space for a new update, although we hear that this may not be an issue much longer. Sometimes the decisions are tough, but necessary.

If you’re still having trouble getting your update to work, some users have cited the tried and true method of turning your iPhone off and back on again. Here at Cult of Mac, we’ve had a lot of success just setting our phones down and downloading the update through iTunes.

Once you get your phone all up to speed, be sure to check out our hot tips about iOS 9 to get the most out of the new firmware. You know, once that abrupt font change stops messing with your head.
