One of the more intriguing iPhone rumors this year has been the return of a 4-inch Apple handset in the form of the so-called iPhone 6c.

But what would it look like alongside the 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus? To help us out, noted concept designer Martin Hajek has given us a special sneak preview.

Check out more of Hajek’s pictures below:

Hajek’s concepts regularly incorporate the latest reports about upcoming devices. Here he has made sure to include the sleek all-metal form factor the iPhone 6c apparently sports, as opposed to the “unapologetically plastic” look of its 5c predecessor.

Not shown in the photo are the reported internal tweaks that would see the device boast advanced “FinFET” processors to deliver increased performance and greater power efficiency.

We started hearing about a possible iPhone 6c late last year, only for the devices to apparently later disappear from the supply chain, before making a return recently. According to the latest rumors we’ve heard, the handset could be released in the last week of October, or the first week of November.

Having initially doubted the validity of these rumors so soon after Apple made the jump to larger-screen devices, I’ve been surprised by the obvious pent-up demand that exists for a smaller handset. Done well, I think this could be a valuable addition to Apple’s iPhone range.
