Dish has reached a new agreement with Turner Broadcasting to keep TBS, TNT, and CNN on its Sling TV service. That’s great news for cord-cutters, but what’s even better is that HBO is coming aboard too — and in time for the new season of Game of Thrones!

Sling TV customers will be able to add HBO to their monthly Sling package in time for the April 12th premiere of Game of Thrones, the company announced today.

HBO will be available for $15 per month — in addition to Sling TV’s $20 monthly baseline price — which will include one live channel and the same VOD library HBO provides on its other platforms. HBO is also launching HBO Now at the same price with Apple TV and Cablevision Systems as a standalone service this month.

“Sling TV is bringing HBO to our customers on all of our supported devices in time for one of the most important TV moments of the year,” Roger Lynch, CEO of Dish’s Sling TV, said in a statement. “HBO delivers hit shows and movies that TV viewers crave, and with this addition we’re adding another heavy hitter to a lineup that includes ESPN, AMC, TNT and more.”

The new HBO package’s extra $15 per month is considerably more than the $5 Sling charges for channel packages, but it’s good news for Sling TV customers that want all of their TV rolled into one subscription.
