Can’t get enough of celebrity gossip? You’re not alone. Up in Redmond, Microsoft is so obsessed with keeping up with the Kardashians that they have just released a custom-built an attractive new celebrity news app called Snipp3t. And while the use to which Snipp3t is meant to be put may look a little tawdry, the app design itself is actually really nice.

Powered by Bing, Snipp3t keeps track of everything that is happening with your favorite celebrities and consolidates it into a single, slickly designed app. Here are the features:

• Subscribe to your favorite celebrity with one click, and the hottest stories about them will show up in your personalized stream of headlines.

• Tap on a celebrity to view their detailed profiles and explore a timeline of news stories surrounding them. You can also tap into a news story to get all relevant story content (news articles, photos, videos, and social mentions) in one place.

• Share your thoughts about the latest news with other fans of your favorite celebrities.

As a more casual reader of the celebrity-stalking tabloids, Snipp3t might be a bit too hardcore of a tool for me to stay abreast, as it were, with the latest Kat Dennings news. But if you’re a true Belieber or a Miley maniac, Snipp3t looks like it could be for you.

Snipp3t can be downloaded for free from the App Store by clicking the link below.
