Apple has notified investors that it will announce its earnings for the third fiscal quarter of the year on Tuesday, July 22. Following the release of its sales numbers, Apple executives will hold their quarterly earnings call to discuss the company’s performance and projections for the future.

You can tune in to Apple’s Investor Relations website at 2 p.m. Pacific for an audio stream of the call. We’ll also be liveblogging/analyzing Cook and Co.’s comments.

This will be the first quarter that the newly apointed Angela Ahrendts has served as Apple’s head of retail, so it will be interesting to see if she joins the earnings call to report on Apple’s retail efforts. Luca Maestri, who recently replaced longtime exec Peter Oppenheimer as Apple’s head of financials, will likely steer much of the discussion alongside Cook.

Apple has predicted between $36 billion and $38 billion in revenue for the quarter. That relatively modest prediction reflects the fact that Apple has yet to release any major new hardware this year.

This will be the last quiet quarter before things get crazy in the fall. New iPhones, iPads, Macs and an iWatch are all expected in the months leading up to Christmas. Eddy Cue recently said the products Apple has in the pipeline for this year are the most impressive he has seen in his 25 years with the company.
