The iRolex is the manliest iWatch concept we’ve seen yet

irolex_overview

Apple’s rumored iWatch could give the watch industry a much needed shot in the wrist once its finally revealed, but what if Apple decided to make iWatch a platform like CarPlay instead of an actual product?

It sounds crazy but putting Apple’s tech in the hands of the world’s classiest watchmakers could yield better results than if Cupertino dives into the fashion world alone. In its newest concept, Curved imagined what Rolex could do with the iWatch and the result is the manliest smart chronometer a non-geek could want.

Those red highlight have got to go, but the hybrid approach of letting your watch look like a watch rather than a space toy might appeal more to fashion conscious Apple fans.

Allowing non-smartwatch features to still work even when the battery’s dead means your Rolly will atleast be useful for telling time, but thanks to wireless charging battery drainage might not be a problem at all if Apple’s Herculean engineering team can also find a way to cram a FaceTime HD camera into that┬ásleek wristband.

Um… Isn’t that a camera at the bottom of the bezel where the watch meets the wristband? Looks like they already made it for FaceTime, Skype or whatever.

this is probably the worse concept i seen, for me its the fuel band concept or nothing, i dont want a designer watch to wear or the square, they want to make this for all purpose …this isnt a all purpose concept.

Dumb…getting tired of this sh**ty a** speculation garbage too.
