Beautiful Wooden Stand Elevates Your iMac

Beautiful Wooden Stand Elevates Your iMac

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. A pen and paper for writing shopping lists. A broom instead of a Roomba. An Aeropress instead of a crappy K-cup. And now, a Lifta iMac stand instead of, uh, more complicated iMac stands.

It’s a chunk of wood, and that’s it. But it raises your iMac to a more comfortable eye-level, and gives you space to stow a keyboard underneath. Not that storing a keyboard is that hard with a naked iMac – you just put it on top of the slimline foot.

Those extra inches can make all the difference, though. And if you have an unfinished wooden desk (which my coincidence I do) then the Lifta will all but disappear visually.

Simplicity doesn’t always comes cheap though. The Lifta costs $125. Choose between Baltic birch plywood (with the veneers running vertically), oak or ash. Available now, or use the Easter weekend to make your own.

I love companies like this…check out their twitter feed. I really don’t have a need for this with my mac but as soon as my wife got here eyes on it she wanted it for the kitchen!

I like the look, but they have 3 pale finishes. Kind of silly. I’d need one in a very dark Wenge type finish.
