V-Moda iPhone Case Emulates The Sound Of A Sword Being Drawn

Fans of both Ikea and swashbuckler movies will be very pleased with the new Metallo case from V-Moda. It comes with its own Allen wrench to screw on the backplate, and when you make this change, the sound
“emulates the sound of unsheathing a sword.”

I have no idea what a sword sounds like when it is yanked from its scabbard (I only know what the movie version sounds like), but i like the idea of exquisite nerdery being accompanied by such a soundtrack.

The case itself is “Metallo is forged from a single aluminum metal block” and it takes an hour to make each one. That presumably counts towards the $101 cost.

And lest you were thinking that V-Moda had forgotten it is “the true music lifestyle brand,” don’t worry: the case comes packed with a guitar pick to make removing that sword-swishing back easy.
