Funny Or Die Releases Trailer For iSteve, The First Steve Jobs Movie [Video]

We’ve been excited for iSteve, Funny or Die’s upcoming Steve Jobs movie, since it was announced on March 18, and with just under two weeks to go until its release, we’ve got its first teaser trailer. Check it out below.

The short clip doesn’t give away too much — it only shows Justin Long, who will play Steve Jobs, for a second or two — but it gives us a brief taste of what’s to come. It’s certainly clear from the clip that iSteve will be a parody biopic.

iSteve will be released on Monday, April 15, and you’ll be able to watch it online at FunnyorDie.com.

The first serious Steve Jobs biopic, Jobs, which stars Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gadd, got its first showing at the Sundance Film Festival back in January. It was due to hit cinemas on April 19, but it was recently delayed by distributor Open Road with no new release date.

Sony Pictures is also working on a Steve Jobs biopic that will be written by The West Wing writer Aaron Sorkin.

I don’t know about you, but I feel quite disappointed with Justin Long. I think his interpretation and his participation is quite disrespectful towards Steve Jobs memory.
    I don’t like it, I think it’s dirty.

Justin Long is nothing but a hack. I have never liked his acting and if it wasn’t for John Hodgman, the Get a Mac commercials would have sucked. I’ll be interested to see what kind of response iSteve gets.
