Wunderlist 2 has finally arrived on the iPad today, just under three months after making its debut on the iPhone, Android, Mac, and PC. This update introduces a whole host of new features and functionality, in addition to speed and performance improvements under the hood. And as usual, it’s completely free.

Wunderlist is now a universal app, so when it gets new features on iPhone — which are promised in the coming weeks — they’ll come to iPad at the same time. But here are some of the features you can start enjoying straight away:

Activity Center — The Activity Center provides you with a complete overview of all your Wunderlist activity within the app itself. It is easy to see who has sent you an invite, who has accepted an invite and who has made any edits to a lists etc.

Notifications — In addition to the Activity Center you can further customize the way you want to be kept informed. Depending on your preference you can also receive updates via push or email notifications.

Sharing — Thanks to the integration of your iPad’s Address Book and Facebook account all your contacts are just a couple of clicks away.

Reminder, Recurring tasks and Subtasks — The Detail View includes Reminders, Recurring tasks and Subtasks, as well as Notes. Even more features will be added here in the near future.

You’ll already be familiar with these if you’ve been using Wunderlist 2 on the iPhone, of course. The iPhone version was launched back in December, and it’s been a big success since then, with more than 1 million downloads in just eight weeks. The service has added more than half a million registered users.

Wunderlist 2 has also been used to create more than 20 million tasks across 3.4 million lists.

“Since the launch of Wunderlist 2 in December we have seen more than half a million sign-ups, boosting our overall registered users to more than 3.5 million,” said Christian Reber, Founder and CEO of 6Wunderkinder.

Furthermore, during the last eight weeks alone our users have created more than 3.4 million lists and 20 million tasks. We are now truly excited to see these numbers grow even further thanks to the arrival and continued development of Wunderlist 2 on one of our most popular platforms, iPad.

Wunderlist 2 is free and it’s available to download from the App Store now. You’ll find it using the source link below.

I use this on my mac, iphone and ipad. It’s such a great to do list app and I have used it with clients too, getting them hooked on it for project tasks :)
