Easily Tranfer Files Between Your Mac and iDevice With This Thumb Drive [CES 2013]
LAS VEGAS, CES 2013 – This is one of those simple ideas we’re surprised no one has come up with before. The PhotoFast i-FlashDrive HD is a flash drive with two different interfaces at each end — one 30-pin, one USB — that makes it super-easy to tranfer files between a desktop and anything with a 30-pin connector. It’ll also work with a Lightning connector through a Lightning adapter.
But the key ingredient here isn’t even the device itself — it’s the free app that works with the flash drive to easily swap files between the drive’s storage, your device/Mac’s storage and even Dropbox. For some strange reason there’s both a normal and an HD version, even though both versions are Universal Apps and seem identical.
These aren’t cheap. the 8 GB version, the smallest, is $99; on the other end of the scale, the 64 GB is a whopping $329.
