Camera Straps Made From Neckties

Camera Straps Made From Neckties

Looking good! The Camera Strap Necktie.

I don’t own a necktie, and I haven’t been clean-shaven since sometime in the mid-to-late 1990s. But that doesn’t mean I can’t brush up nice and get all dressed up from time to time. Which is why I’m seriously considering one of Photojojo’s smart-looking Camera Strap Neckties.

The name might be reversed (surely they should be called Necktie Camera Straps?) but the idea is a sound one. Neckties are built to hang around your neck, and so are cameras. It’s a marriage made in nerd heaven. And speaking of marriages, attending a wedding with one of these might a) excuse you from wearing a real tie and b) look a hell of a lot smarter than that hideous be-logoed strap that shipped with your camera.

The “soft cottony tweed” straps can be ordered right now for just $30. Or, should you have a few unused ties being eaten my moths in your closet, why not make your own?
