Also reminiscent of the original iPad announcement invite. “Come see our latest creation.” Had all the multicolored paint splashes everywhere.
Maybe it’s that combined with the Retina image?

Is it your finding? I read it in one of the user comments couple of days back, when the poster was been unveiled.
The color is the same…but starting to think there is more here? Gaurdian is reporting possible “haptic” display using Senseg technology…allows touch textures on a display. Starting to believe this banner is showing the color from their retina image but it is also showing texture changes? Very similar to the top of the Senseg site, on the Experience page. Guess we’ll have to wait for tomorrow. :)
