Marvel Brings 80 Graphic Novels To The iBookstore

Comic book junkies rejoice: Marvel has brought 80 graphic novels to Apple’s iBookstore. Titles like Civil War, Avengers, Dark Tower, Spider-Man, X-Men, and more are now available in the iBookstore for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

More titles will be added to the iBookstore every week, and Marvel is offering a full issue of New Avengers for free to wet your appetite.

“Marvel is taking the world of comics by storm and releasing a massive selection of our best and brightest graphic novels on the iBookstore,” said Peter Phillips, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Marvel Digital Media Group. “For the first time ever, fans will be able to easily find and enjoy all of their favorite heroes including The Avengers, Spider-Man and The X-Men on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch — one of the best digital platforms for reading comics and graphic novels.”

Previously you could use Marvel’s official iOS app to download comics and graphic novels. Selling in the iBookstore will make it easer for more customers to purchase and read the titles across devices.

Visit this iTunes Store landing page to view Marvel’s available iBooks collection. You can get New Avengers Vol. 1: Breakout for free as part of the launch promotion.
