A prominent Apple analyst recently predicted that Apple’s rumored AR glasses won’t debut until 2022. But since then, other noted leakers have said these augmented-reality Apple Glasses will be out next year.

The iPhone 12 box may be a little bit lighter than you’re expecting — as Apple stops packaging its smartphones with wired EarPods to try and push sales of the AirPods.

That’s according to renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in a note sent to clients Wednesday. Kuo also thinks that Apple could offer big discounts and promotions related to the AirPods this holiday season. That would coincide with the arrival of Apple’s next-gen iPhones — minus free packaged earbuds.

Scott Forstall, the former Apple executive some people once speculated would take over from Steve Jobs as CEO, is making a rare appearance this week as part of Code.org’s free Code Break event.

Code Break is described as the “world’s largest live interactive classroom.” It features weekly computer science challenges for students of all abilities, hosted by founder Hadi Partovi alongside special guests. In addition to Forstall, this Wednesday’s Code Break will feature rapper Macklemore.

The latest addition to Apple Arcade is in the same genre as the classic Monument Valley, where players solve puzzles to work their way through a story. KO_OP  describes its creation as “a heartwarming tale of grief, love, truth, and acceptance.”

Apple’s next entry level iPad, shipping later this year, will boast an A12 chip, according to Apple leaker @L0vetodream.

While the message, posted on Twitter, is short on details, L0vetodream has previously carved out a decent track record for making Apple “predictions.”

Short-form video app Quibi has had a rough start since launching in April, and co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg says there’s only one thing he blames: COVID-19.

“I attribute everything that has gone wrong to coronavirus,” Katzenberg told the New York Times in a report published late Monday. Katzenberg said that the initial app downloads have not been “close to what we wanted.” Now Quibi is going to let iPhone users watch it on their TVs to try and make up some of the lost ground.
